Migrasi Jepang ke Thailand
Migrasi Jepang ke Thailand memiliki sejarah panjang, dan pada tahun terkini bertumbuh pada jumlah besar. Bangkok, rumah dari dua per tiga dari seluruh pemukim Jepang terdaftar di Thailand, memiliki populasi ekspatriat Jepang terbesar keempat dari kota manapun di luar Jepang, setelah Los Angeles, New York City, dan Shanghai.[4] Para pemukim Jepang sendiri menduga bahwa jumlah populasi mereka sebenarnya beberapa kali melebihi angka resmi, karena beberapa pemukim, khususnya pemegang visa wisata jangka panjang, gagal untuk mendaftar pada konsulat Jepang lokal mereka.[5]
