Nasionalisme Hindu secara kolektif disebut sebagai ekspresi pemikiran sosial dan politik, yang berdasarkan pada tradisi kebudayaan dan spiritual asli dari anak benua India. Beberapa cendekiawan menganggap bahwa pemakaian istilah "nasionalisme Hindu" untuk merujuk kepada Hindū rāṣṭravāda adalah sebuah terjemahan sederhana dan lebih sering diartikan sebagai "negara Hindu".[1]
