Métro de Paris Jalur 3 merupakan satu dari 16 jalur metro yang tergabung dalam Métro de Paris. Jalur ini menghubungkan Levallois-Perret dan Bagnolet melalui Gare Saint-Lazare, Grand Boulevard dan Place de la République di pusat kota Paris.

Figur lalu lintas kereta bawah tanah pada jalur ini adalah 91,655,659 penumpang per tahun, tetapi jumlah ini juga mencakup lalu lintas di Jalur 3bis.

Sejarah

10 Oktober 1904: Bagian pertama jalur 3 dibuka antara makam Père Lachaise dan Villiers. Pekerjaan ini memakan waktu yang lebih lama daripada yang diperkirakan karena infrastruktur.
25 Januari 1905: Jalur ini diperpanjang di timur Père Lachaise hingga Gambetta.
23 Mei 1910: Perpanjangan dari Villiers hingga Pereire.
15 Februari 1911: Perpanjangan dari Pereire hingga Porte de Champerret.
27 November 1921: Perpanjangan dari Gambetta hingga Porte des Lilas.
24 September 1937: Perpanjangan dari Porte de Champerret hingga Pont de Levallois.
1967: Jalur 3 menjadi jalur metro pertama yang menerima lokomotif MF67. Lokomotif ini masih digunakan walaupun sudah diperbaiki.
23 Agustus 1969: Stasiun Gambetta dibangun ulang, mencakup stasiun Martin Nadaud di dekatnya.
23 Maret 1971: Cabang antara Gambetta dan Porte des Lilas dipisahkan dari jalur ini dan membentuk Jalur 3bis.
2 April 1971: Perpanjangan dari Gambetta hingga Gallieni.

Perubahan nama stasiun

15 Oktober 1907: Rue St-Denis diganti menjadi Réaumur-Sébastopol.
1926: Caumartin diganti menjadi Havre-Caumartin
1 Mei 1946: Vallier diganti menjadi Louise Michel untuk mengenang pemimpin "La Commune" itu.
September 1998: Saint-Maur diganti menjadi Rue Saint-Maur dengan tujuan untuk menghindari perselisihan dengan pinggiran kota Saint-Maur-les-Fossées.

Rencana masa depan

Anak dari jalur 3, jalur 3bis akan digabung dengan jalur 7bis untuk membentuk jalur 15.
