Transtheisme mengacu kepada sistem pemikiran atau filsafat agama yang bukan teistik, juga bukan ateis, tetapi di luar keduanya. Istilah ini diciptakan oleh salah satu di antara kedua orang ini, filsuf Paul Tillich atau ahli Indologi Heinrich Zimmer.[1]

Istilah ini baru-baru ini juga diterapkan pada Buddhisme,[2] Advaita Vedanta,[3] dan gerakan Bhakti.[4]
