This template is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It could be used by the template {{Lang}} with language code zh to include articles in Category:Articles containing bahasa Tionghoa-language text, if the category was created (using {{Category articles containing non-English-language text |bahasa Tionghoa |zh}}). For example: {{Lang |zh |some text in bahasa Tionghoa}}, which wraps the text with <span lang="zh">. Also available is {{Lang-zh |some text in bahasa Tionghoa}} which displays as Hanzi: some text in bahasa Tionghoa.
It is used by {{zh icon}} and {{Link language|zh}} to display the language of an external link. These templates could add articles to Category:Articles with bahasa Tionghoa-language external links, if the category was created (using {{Non-English-language external links category |code=zh |name=bahasa Tionghoa}}).
