Pesta Olahraga Makabe
Pesta Olahraga Maccabiah (alias Pesta Olahraga Maccabiah Dunia; bahasa Ibrani: משחקי המכביה, atau משחקי המכביה העולמית; seringkali disebut sebagai "Olimpiade Yahudi"), yang mula-mula diadakan pada 1932, adalah sebuah ajang olahraga Israel dan Yahudi internasional yang diadakan setiap empat tahun sekali di Israel.[1][2][3] Perlombaan tersebut adalah acara olahraga terbesar ketiga di dunia, dengan 10.000 atlet berkompetisi.[4][5][6] Pesta Olahraga Maccabiah dideklarasikan sebagai "Acara Olahraga Regional" oleh, dan di bawah naungan dan bimbingan, Komite Olimpiade Internasional pada 1961.[7][8][9]
Pesta Olahraga Maccabiah terbuka bagi para atlet Yahudi dari seluruh penjuru dunia serta seluruh atlet Israel tanpa memandang suku bangsa atau agama. Arab-Israel juga berkompeitisi dalam perlombaan tersebut.[3][10]
