Perdagangan satwa liar
Perdagangan satwa liar internasional adalah masalah konservasi serius, seperti yang disampaikan oleh Konvensi tentang Perdagangan Internasional dalam Spesies Fauna dan Flora Liar yang Terancam (bahasa Inggris: Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora, disingkat CITES) dari Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa, yang sekarang memiliki 170 negara anggota yang disebut Partai-Partai.[1] Konferensi Partai-Partai CITES ke-15 diadakan di Doha, Qatar pada Maret 2010.[2] Perdagangan satwa liar adalah bisnis ilegal terbesar ketiga setelah narkoba dan persenjataan [3]
