Bagian Sejarah

Pada bagian sejarah, tepatnya pada bagian 25 September 1810 terdapat kalimat berikut.

"...Sejak peristiwa tersebut 25 September dijadikan sebagai hari jadi kota Bandung dan R.A. Wiranatakusumah sebagai the founding father. Sekarang nama tersebut diabadikan menggantikan jalan Cipaganti, di mana wilayah ini menjadi rumah tinggal bupati sewaktu ibu kota berpindah ke alun-alun sekarang."

Kalimat 1: Saya kurang paham dengan pernyataan itu. Sejak peristiwa tersebut 25 September dijadikan sebagai hari jadi kota Bandung (sampai di sini masih pahamlah)

Sambungan kalimat 1: ...dan R.A. Wiranatakusumah sebagai the Founding Father (?) Apakah sejak 25 September itu beliau "ditetapkan" sebagai pendiri kota Bandung?

Kalimat 2: Sekarang nama tersebut (nama siapa?) diabadikan menggantikan jalan Cipaganti (sepertinya jalan cipaganti masih ada deh??)

Sambungan kalimat 2: .., di mana wilayah ini menjadi rumah tinggal bupati sewaktu ibu kota berpindah ke alun-alun sekarang. (ini maksudnya apa?)

Ada yang bisa bantu?

Untuk kalimat 2 yang saudara di atas permasalahkan, tentu saja yang dimaksud "nama tersebut" itu adalah R.A. Wiranatakusumah. Mengenai Jalan Cipaganti, jalan tersebut memang masih ada sampai sekarang, entah sebagian dari jalan tersebut ada yang diubah namanya jadi Jalan R.A. Wiranatakusumah atau tidak, yang jelas saya pun kurang mengetahui hal itu (padahal saya sendiri asli orang Bandung, lho!). Jl.Cipaganti berubah menjadi jl.R.A.A. Wiranatakusumah karena atas jasa2 sebagai penerus pendiri kota bandung,pemerintah kota bandung memberi penghargaan hanya dengan sebuah nama jalan saja.lebih jelasnya mengenai pendiri kota bandung bisa tanyakan kepada putra pendiri kota bandung yang masih ada sekarang bapak Otong Wiranatakusumah atau bapak bibing arifin wiranatakusumah di tlp 022-7565387 terimakasih
