Ini hasil studi literatur saya tentang hypervelocity stars. Untuk verifikasi, sumber-sumbernya dapat diakses di ADSABS, sebagaimana saya berikan. Belum ada terjemahan resmi dari istilah Hypervelocity Stars (HVS), oleh karena itu saya mengusulkan agar terjemahannya adalah Bintang Hipercepat. Kenapa tidak bintang kecepatan tinggi? Ini supaya tidak rancu dengan high velocity stars (bintang cepat) yang merupakan objek berbeda. Tulisan ini masih belum selesai.
