Sejarah misi Yesuit di China adalah bagian dari sejarah hubungan antara China dan dunia Barat.

Menurut penelitian oleh David E. Mungello, dari 1552 (pasca kematian St. Fransiskus Xaverius) sampai 1800, terdapat 920 Yesuit yang berpartisipasi dalam misi Tiongkok; 314 orang diantaranya adalah orang Portugis, dan 130 orang lainnya adalah orang Prancis.[2]
