Medgar Evers
Medgar Wiley Evers (2 Juli 1925 – 12 Juni 1963) adalah seorang aktivis hak sipil Amerika Serikat di Mississippi dan veteran Perang Dunia II yang bertugas dalam Angkatan Darat Amerika Serikat. Ia memperjuangkan penghapusan pemisahan ras di Universitas Mississippi, mengakhiri pemisahan ras pada fasilitas-fasilitas publik, dan memperluas kesempatan bagi Afrika Amerika, yang meliputi pemberlakuan hak pemungutan suara.
