Maximos dari Gallipoli

Maximos dari Gallipoli (bahasa Yunani: Μάξιμος Καλλιπολίτης; bahasa Latin: Maximus Callipolites; wafat 1633) adalah seorang ieromonakhos yang membuat terjemahan pertama Perjanjian Baru ke dalam bahasa Yunani modern setelah 1629. Hal ini dilakukan atas inisiatif reformasi Patriark Cyril Lucaris dari Konstantinopel, yang kemudian dicekik.[1] Dengan pantuan duta besar Belanda untuk Konstantinopel, karya tersebut dicetak di Jenewa pada 1638.[2] Meletios Sirigos (1590–1664) sangat menentang penerjemahan Maximos.[3][4]
