Mereka terkenal pada akhir 1920-an sampai pertengahan 1940-an atas komedi slapstick mereka.[1][2] Nada khas duo tersebut banyak dikenal sebagai "The Cuckoo Song", "Ku-Ku", atau "The Dance of the Cuckoos".
