Konsekuensi yang tidak diinginkan

Dalam ilmu sosial, konsekuensi yang tidak diinginkan atau dampak yang tidak diharapkan adalah hasil dari tindakan yang tak diinginkan atau diperkirakan. Istilah tersebut dipopulerkan pada abad kedua puluh oleh pakar sosiologi Amerika Serikat Robert K. Merton.
