Jembatan Kuning adalah sebuah jembatan penyeberangan khusus bagi pejalan kaki, pesepeda dan pengendara sepeda motor yang menghubungkan antara pulau Nusa Ceningan dan Nusa Lembongan yang melintas diatas perairan selat kecil.

Sejarah

Jembatan Kuning pertama kali dibangun pada tahun 1996 untuk memperlancar transportasi warga antara penduduk pulau Nusa Ceningan dan Nusa Lembongan yang hanya terpisah oleh sebuah perairan selat kecil.

Keruntuhan 16 Oktober 2016

Pada 16 Oktober 2016, tepat pada perayaan Hari Raya Nyepi Segara, Jembatan Kuning ini dilewati lebih dari 100 orang masyarakat yang akan melakukan ibadah di Pura Bakung di sisi sebelah timur jembatan. Pada pukul 18.30 WITA, jembatan ini rubuh dan menyebabkan 8 orang warga meninggal dunia^[1].

Tidak lama setelahnya, jembatan ini dibangun kembali dan pada 31 Maret 2017 selesai direkonstruksi dan diresmikan oleh Dirjen Bina Marga Kementerian PUPR bersama dengan Wakil Gubernur Bali dan Bupati Klungkung^[2].

Pariwisata

Selain sebagai sarana infrastruktur diantara kedua pulau, jembatan ini menjadi daya tarik wisatawan yang berkunjung ke kedua pulau ini. Wisatawan selalu menyempatkan berswafoto dengan latar jembatan ini^[3].
