Insiden Chesapeake–Leopard
Insiden Chesapeake–Leopard adalah sebuah pertempuran angkatan laut yang terjadi di lepas pantai Norfolk, Virginia, pada Senin, 22 Juni 1807, antara kapal perang Britania HMS Leopard dan fregat Amerika USS Chesapeake. Kru dari Leopard mengejar, menyerang, dan menaiki fregat Amerika tersebut, mencari desertir dari Angkatan Laut Kerajaan.[1]
