Benteng Monroe

Benteng Monroe (yang juga dikenal sebagai Monumen Nasional Benteng Monroe) adalah sebuah instalasi militer yang sudah tak dipakai di Hampton, Virginia—di Old Point Comfort, ujung selatan Semenanjung Virginia. Bersama dengan Benteng Wool, Benteng Monroe menjaga selat navigasi antara Teluk Chesapeake dan Jalan Hampton—jalan alam di pertemuan sungai Elizabeth, Nansemond dan James. Dikelilingi parit, benteng bintang tujuh sisi tersebut adalah benteng batu terbesar yang pernah dibangun di Amerika Serikat.
