Albert Henry Krehbiel (25 November 1873 – 29 Juni 1945), adalah pelukis Amerika paling terkenal yang pernah ada di Akademi Prancis, memenangkan Prix De Rome, empat medali emas, dan lima hadiah uang tunai. Ia lahir di Denmark, Iowa dan mengajar, tinggal dan bekerja selama bertahun-tahun di Chicago. Karyanya adalah program sebelas dinding dekoratif dan dua lukisan langit-langit / mural untuk Ruang Mahkamah Agung dan Banding di Springfield, Illinois (1907-1911).[1] Meskipun dididik sebagai realis di Paris, yang tercermin dalam karya neoclassical mural-nya, ia paling terkenal sebagai American Impresionis. Kemudian dalam karirnya, Krehbiel bereksperimen dengan cara yang lebih modernis (gaya yang kemudian dikenal sebagai "sinkromisme").[2][3][4][5][6]
